3rd and 4th class have been learning about the human body in science. We learned about the bones in our body and about our major organs. We carried out a fun experiment to see how much air our lungs can hold. Here are some pictures of us in action.

Autumn Poetry

The boys and girls in 5th and 6th class were busy writing their Autumn Haiku's today. We learned that a Haiku is a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five. We had great fun brainstorming different Autumnal vocabulary and figuring out how many syllables each word had!

Active week 2018

Active Week took place last week with a busy fun-filled week planned for the children to encourage them to be as active as possible. The children engaged in a variety of activities from yoga to hurling throughout the week. Have a look at some of the photos below. First up... Go-Games Blitz

As part of Active Week in the school, 1st/2nd and 3rd classes took part in a 7 a-side Go-Games Blitz on Wednesday morning. In all we had 135 pupils from 7 different schools throughout the county taking part. A fantastic day was had by all involved.
