1st & 2nd Hatch Chicks
Recently, the boys and girls in 1st and 2nd class were learning all about life cycles. As part of their learning, the children had the opportunity to incubate eggs in the classroom and observe them for 21 days. On day 20 their was great excitement as the first of our chicks hatched out of it's shell. In the days that followed, the remaining 5 chicks hatched. Over the two weeks that followed, the children took care of the chicks in the classroom and observed changes as they grew, developed and changed. This was a fantastic learning experience for the children and one that they will never forget!...
