Sensory Room

Our refurbished sensory room is up and running. “Creative Activity” transformed the room over the summer with climbing wall panels, vibration pads, a ball-pool, crash pads and sound bar. This space supports children’s sensory preferences and needs. It aims to provide students with the individualised sensory input they need to self-regulate, so they can be better prepared for learning and interacting with others.

Thank you to everyone who helped us attain this wonderful addition to our school. The Cuilcagh Climb raised 10,185 and we received a 500 grant through the Social and Cultural fund from Cavan Credit Union. Many thanks to the Credit Union for helping to make this possible.

The total cost of the sensory room transformation is 11,425. We hope to make up the extra by holding a draw for the Monkey Bars sometime before the Halloween Break.
