3rd and 4th Class have been busy learning about the Antarctic. Check out their cool penguins below made from socks and rice.  

Check out these beautiful polar landscapes completed by 3rd and 4th Class. The children have been learning about Tom Crean, Antarctic explorer with Ms. Lawlor. 5th and 6th Class created rainy day scenes based on April Showers. The children used different painting techniques to achieve their desired result. Take a look below.

Redhills Juvenile Football Training will be taking place at the football pitch on Saturday mornings at 10am. Under 7s will be in Redhills  training this Saturday morning. Under 9s and 11s will be travelling to Drumalee to play in the go-games. This is our first game of the 2018 season. We will be leaving the football club at  9-30am. New members always welcome.

The children took part in 8 weeks of gymnastics with two coaches, Gillian and Leah. The children learned lots of new skills and moves and demonstrated great flexibility throughout. Well done to all.

Congratulations to Keeva Courtney and Anna Fitzpatrick who came 1st and 3rd respectively in the U8's Community Games Art Competition. Well done done to all who took part.

The school was a hive of activity this week with Seachtain na Gaeilge in full swing. The children participated in a tráth na gceist, céilí dancing, cluichí and a ceolchoirm throughout the week. The children also completed some fantastic art work to celebrate our culture and language. Well done to the children on all their hard work. Congratulations to all the children in 6th class who made their Confirmation on Sunday. St. Brigid's N.S would like to thank all the students for working hard over the past few months, parents and especially Sr.Rita for all the hard work she puts in year on year.
