Recently, the boys and girls in 1st and 2nd class were learning all about life cycles. As part of their learning, the children had the opportunity to incubate eggs in the classroom and observe them for 21 days. On day 20 their was great excitement as the first of our chicks hatched out of it's shell. In the days that followed, the remaining 5 chicks hatched. Over the two weeks that followed, the children took care of the chicks in the classroom and observed changes as they grew, developed and changed.This was a fantastic learning experience for the children and one that they will never forget!...

The children in 3rd and 4th have been busy working on computers conducting research on their favourite sports person. They are going to present their findings to the class in the coming days.

3rd and 4th Class have been working super hard at leaning the tin whistle. They can now play a variety of tunes and can read and write some music notes. Have a listen to their rendition of Twinkle Twinkle that they learned in school today. Enjoy. https://youtu.be/GXfZF-I_4no  

The whole school took a walk to the mass rock to enjoy some play time and to have their lunch. A lovely time was had by all in the sunshine.

Today, the children brought their work outside to enjoy the glorious weather and to catch some sun. Long may this fine weather last.

Congratulations to the boys and girls in 2nd class who received their First Holy Communion on Saturday.

The children in 3rd and 4th Class had great fun in maths this week where they were learning about length. They drew around themselves and measured the length of various body parts as well as their height.

There has been great excitement this week in Second Class as the boys and girls are busy preparing for their First Holy Communion, which takes place this coming Saturday the 5th of May.

Choir has commenced for children in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class to prepare for First Holy Communion.   Guitar lessons have also commenced for 3rd and 4th class students. We are currently in our second week.

The boys and girls in First and Second class have been busy learning all about the sun, the moon, the stars and space. As part of their learning, they designed and created their own rocket-ships. Well done on all your hard work!
