The Rising Stars had lots of fun learning about healthy eating, tasting fruit and making smoothies.  

Before the Mid-Term break, the Junior and Senior Infants had great fun exploring all things Easter themed during Aistear. Here is a look at what we got up to.

5th and 6th class are learning about some of the geological wonders of the world. In their groups they used Lego WeDo to recreate some of these wonders, they chose to recreate The Great Barrier Reef and Niagara Falls.

This year National Community Games is holding a Virtual Competition for children in 7 different categories: art, model-making, dance, singing, music and recitation. The entries are uploaded virtually through the Community Games website. The closing date for entries is the 5th of May 2021, make sure you don't miss it! The children in the STARS classes had lots of fun with an Easter egg hunt and some egg and spoon races on Friday, take a look at the pictures below to see how they got on!

5th and 6th class have been busy completing different Spring art activities, including some Easter baking! Take a look at the pictures below to see how they got on.  

All of the boys and girls from 3rd to 6th class took part in a treasure hunt in Shannow Wood on Wednesday. They had a great afternoon regardless of the weather!

Today we had a visit from the Easter Bunny who left some chocolate eggs for us to find. We had so much fun and the eggs were pretty tasty too!  

All the boys and girls in Junior Infants up to 2nd class along with the STARS classes spent the afternoon in Shannow Wood where they enjoyed the sunshine and a lovely picnic.
