Our Daily Mile started on Monday, as part of this initiative, teachers and pupils will try to run/walk for 15 minutes every day for 4 weeks. A great way to get some fresh air as well as getting our steps up!
3rd Class had a very special trip to Erica’s Fairy Forest last Friday. They had lots of fun playing in the forest and enjoyed a lovely picnic with hot chocolate.
As part of Catholic Schools Week, we have been celebrating Grandparent’s Day. Each classroom completed different activities such as projects on their grandparents, cards, art activities and poems.
As part of Catholic Schools Week, the children in 3rd class have been learning about gratitude. They each decorated a ‘Gratitude Jar’ and have written some of the things they are grateful for in their lives.
The Shooting Stars classroom have been reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar, today they looked at all the different fruits the caterpillar ate. They even got to taste some themselves!
Today was Martin Luther King Day. The children in 3rd class learned about the great things he did and what he believed in. We had a go at writing our own ‘I have a dream’ speech.
