1st & 2nd class have been busy preparing for Halloween. They have been making witches in art class and listening to Halloween songs in music class. They even did a Monster Mash dance off. Have a look at them at work.

The boys and girls in St.Brigids NS had their annual Green Halloween Fashion Show today. Great imagination was shown in every class this year.  There were a lot of fun activities happening in all of the different classrooms too, have a look at the pictures below to see what everyone got up to.

To start off Maths Week 2021, 5th and 6th class used their problem solving skills to complete some tasks on the whiteboard using the iZak9 cubes.

3rd class are getting in the mood for Halloween this week with their Tim Burton inspired portraits. They used a step by step guide to draw their portraits as Tim Burton would. They then used chalk pastels to shade and add dimension to their work. I think you’ll agree they are pretty impressive!

The boys and girls in 3rd and 4th class are going to be taking part in an International Pen Pal Exchange with a class of similar age in Spain. They are going to be learning lots about Spanish culture and traditions, become familiar with a foreign language while also telling their Spanish pen pals all about Irish culture and traditions. The boys and girls in 5th and 6th class have been getting into the theme of Halloween by creating their monsters. Spooky!

The boys and girls in 3rd class received their First Holy Communion on Saturday. Thank you to Ms. Carney and Ms. Maguire for all their hard work in preparing the class for what was a lovely occasion. More photos will follow later.  

The boys and girls in the Shooting Stars classroom have been very busy learning about Autumn. They have completed some lovely Autumn art and have been learning all about the different colours, leaves and animals of Autumn!

Redhills GAA have been been training very hard using our Multi-Use Games Area, some future stars in the making!

The children in the Shining Stars classroom had lots of fun recently preparing, cooking and eating pizzas. Yummy!
