The boys in the Shining STARS class had a fantastic day out at the FAI Football for all blitz. This was hosted by the Cavan Sports Partnership.

3rd and 4th Class pupils have been busy developing their maths and problem-solving skills using the IZAK9 cubes. The IZAK9 cubes are a fun, hands-on resource that encourage children to work together, think creatively, and use their maths knowledge in new and exciting ways. The colourful cubes challenge pupils to solve puzzles involving number, shape, pattern, and logical reasoning — all while promoting teamwork and communication. Well done to everyone in 3rd and 4th Class for their enthusiasm and great teamwork during our IZAK9 sessions!

We had a very successful day at the Co. Cavan Cross Country Competition today. Well done to all the boys and girls who took part! Congratulations to the intermediate and senior girls teams who came second in their group and to Caolán who came 10th overall in the intermediate boys. Well done all!

The Shooting STARS worked together to bake some delicious rice krispie buns. These tasty treats were enjoyed while celebrating some birthdays in our class.

The Shining STARS class worked together as a group to make a parachute for their egg drop challenge! After making their parachutes they had to test them out by dropping them from a height!

All the students from Junior Infants to 6th class have been taking part in music generation with our amazing instructor Sinead. The children have really been enjoying the sessions, exploring rhythm, singing, dancing and learning about different instruments and sounds in a fun and creative way.
