Our budding gardeners in 4th class did a great job clearing out our poly tunnel. So far, they have planted potatoes, strawberries and a mix of herbs.

As part of Seachtain Na Gaeilge, the boys and girls in 5th and 6th class undertook a project about their favourite sportsmen and women through the Irish language. As you can see they really are a creative bunch!

3rd class’s art and STEM lessons were inspired by the Winter Olympics last week.  

5th and 6th class boys and girls have been learning about life in Ireland in the 16th and 17th centuries. Here they are doing some research in their project groups.

3rd class found some unusual spots to read their favourite books today!

We had an overwhelming response to our Aid Collection for Ukraine. Your packages of much needed supplies are on their way as we speak. The pupils also made lovely cards to show we are thinking of them. You kindness and generosity will go towards helping so many in their time of need. From all the staff in St.Brigid’s NS, we want to say a massive thank you for your support.

Today we celebrated World Book Day, everyone went to great efforts dressing up as characters from their favourite books.    

3rd class have started cookery club after school on Thursdays, this week they were busy making banana oat muffins, smoothies, and pancakes. Future chefs in the making!

All the boys and girls had great fun making, decorating and eating their pancakes in school on Pancake Tuesday. Looks yummy!  

The Parent's Association will be holding a Tractor and Vintage Vehicle Run on the 20th of March, please come out and support!
