On Monday, Minister Heather Humphreys and Daithí Ó Murchú visited our school to present us with our Digital Schools of Europe Award. After the ceremony, parents got to visit the different classroom to see digital learning taking place. We would like to thank the parents who came to watch the ceremony and the staff who helped out with refreshments and music. A great day was had by all!

The children in the Shooting Stars classroom have been learning all about hard and soft materials. They got to feel all the different textures of each material. They had great fun picking their favourite!

3rd class haven been learning about 3D shapes. Today we made our own so we could investigate their properties.

As part of the Incredible Edibles programme, 3rd class have been learning about healthy eating. Today we made fruit faces and smoothies using some of our favourite fruits.

Pupils who participated in the choir for First Holy Communion had a pizza party today. A huge thank you from everyone for the lovely music!

On Thursday, the Shooting Stars made a trip to the shop to buy ingredients for the pizza they were making that afternoon. They done a great job at finding everything they needed!

The Shooting Stars have been learning all about the lifecycle of a frog this week.
