Active Week Day 1
The Junior and Senior infants engaged in some GAA coaching today with Mr.Mc Gonnell. The children really enjoyed this and look forward to the rest of the activities during Active Week.
The children from 1st class up to 6th class took part in a soccer competition, well done to Italy who were the overall winners!
To finish the day of, 5th and 6th class had a soccer match against the staff where the staff came out as the winners!

The 5 Senses
The Shooting Stars have been learning about the 5 different senses. This week they were focusing on the sense of taste, they got to taste sweet, salty and sour foods!

Transition into Secondary School
On Tuesday the boys and girls in 6th class engaged in a transition course helping them get ready for secondary school. Thanks to Evan from Brainbox for providing a very informative course.

School Tour with the STARS Classes
The Shooting Stars and Rising Stars had their school trip to the Lakeland Forum this week. They had great fun on the bouncy castle, soft play area and in the swimming pool!

Cumann na mBunscoil
On Wednesday, our girls played a game against Mountnugent NS. The game was played on our Astro Pitch. It was a well battled contest, with Mountnugent prevailing at the end. It was great to have the students from 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th class on hand to support the girls.

Girls Football Blitz
Well done to the girls who reached the final in the football blitz they took part in on the 3G last week. Unfortunately, they narrowly lost out to Lacken but they have done their whole school very proud, well done girls!
