The junior infants have been busy learning about all things Autumn over the past couple of weeks. We explored Autumn items in our nature table, went on a nature walk and completed Autumn themed activities in our Aistear stations. We have been learning loads and having lots of fun along the way!

Cross Country
Well done to all the boys and girls who took part in the Cavan Cross Country Championships. A great day was had by all. A special congratulations to our Junior Girls team who came 3rd, our intermediate girls team who came 3rd and our Senior boys team who came second. Well done to all!!

All our boys and girls from junior infants to 6th class started their first volleyball session this week. We learned some new skills and techniques and had great fun!

Lego We Do
2nd and 3rd class had great fun building cars using Lego We Do. They then used basic code on the laptops to programme the cars to race each other.

Welcome to our New Junior Infants
Today we welcomed our new Junior Infants to St. Brigid's National School. They had a great day playing, singing, dancing and getting to know each other. We are very excited for the year ahead.

1st/ 2nd and 3rd Class Football Blitz
The school held a very successful blitz on Thursday 22nd June.
We had approximately 100 children from Milltown N.S., Ballyhaise NS. and Belturbet Boy's N.S. all taking part. It was a non competitive, fun day, played in glorious sunshine. Every child received, a medal, crisp and drink.

Thank you to our amazing Parents Association who surprised us with a visit from a magician! It was absolutely fantastic and all the children laughed from the start to the end!

Clothes can be dropped off at Underage Football Training & Murphy's Shop.
