Junior Infants had a fantastic time this week taking their learning outdoors as part of our STEAM education activities. Making the most of the beautiful sunshine, the children worked together to build and create using K’NEX Education resources.

There was great excitement and plenty of smiles in school last week as 1st and 2nd Class enjoyed a special pizza party together! The celebration was organised as a treat for our wonderful 2nd Class pupils following their First Holy Communion. It was a lovely opportunity for the children to relax, celebrate together, and enjoy some well-earned fun with their friends and classmates. Ava's created some fantastic pictures of Bluey characters at break time with chalk. All the children were amazed at our talented artist!

It has been a really busy month in the Rising Stars class. They have been enjoying baking, gardening, messy play, day trips and P.E!

Well done to the 3rd and 4th class boys who attended the FAI Soccer Blitz in Bailieborough last week. They successfully made it through to the finals and did St.Brigid's N.S very proud! Well done boys!

We are very proud of our Second Class pupils who recently celebrated their First Confession. In the weeks leading up to the sacrament, the children learned about kindness, forgiveness, and making good choices. Now, they are excitedly preparing for their First Holy Communion next weekend — another important step in their faith journey. We wish all the children and their families a joyful and memorable celebration ahead.

Junior Infants enjoyed their hot lunches out in the sensory garden last week when the sun was shining. We can't wait to use this space more in the next few months.

Last week 1st and 2nd class took full advantage of the Springtime Sun with a walk to Shannow Woods. They enjoyed searching for the signs of spring in the woodlands and soaking up the good weather.
