Today seen the launch of our Active Friday initiative which aims to make sure all children are active during break times. The school yard today was zoned with different P.E equipment being distributed to each class grouping. The children had a great time and are already looking forward to what next week will bring. Junior and Senior Infants along with 1st and 2nd class enjoyed playing with Hula Hoops.
The Active School Flag committee were fantastic today while setting up the yard and distributing equipment. Well done to all involved.
3rd and 4th class were given skipping ropes. The children thoroughly enjoyed trying to beat each other’s records.
5th and 6th class enjoyed both football and gymnastics.
