The 3rd/4th/ 5th and 6th class boys have started training with Ms. Maguire for the Cumann na mBunscol competition. Training takes place on a Monday from 3-4pm. They play their first game next Friday in Redhills V Clifferena N.S. They then play Killeshandra and Killyconnon National Schools in the weeks following this. Best of luck to all involved.

Meet our Active School committee for the year 2017/2018. Erin, Declan, Thomas, Tomás, Nicole, Noah, Rowan, Daniel, Hayley and Seanie will be working hard during the year to promote physical activity in our school. They will be helping to organise lots of events throughout the year and will be making sure that everyone is being as active as possible at break and lunch times.

We have selected our Green School committee for the year. Aoibhin Smith, Ailish, Andrew, Cara, Sebastian, Aoibheann Dunne, Leah and Áine will be very busy throughout the year helping us to achieve our third Green flag based on the theme of water. They will be working hard to maintain our litter and waste and energy flags as well as doing their bit to conserve water in the school.

We have selected our gardening committee for the year 2017/2018. Cian, Katie, Brianna, Oisin, Connor and Jessica will be busy working in the polytunnel planting and growing fruit and vegetables. Watch this space to see what they get up to during the year.
