Ras na Rua 3 County Challenge” 11k or 6k Race will take place on Sunday 13th March 2016 at 11:00am. Registrations between 9:30am and 10:30am on morning of the race.  Entrance fees are €15 for Adults, €10 for Students. Reduced rates will be available for groups/clubs & families. Open Draw Prize Fund of €300 for all of 11k participants plus Top 10  finishers of 6k Race.  Race Winners Prizes also to be won. St. Brigid’s National School will be holding a Book Fair from the 22nd – 25th February in the GP room. Any commission raised from this Book Fair will go towards upgrading our school library. The GP room will be open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning from 9-9.30am and on Thursday night from 7-8pm if anyone would like to visit the Book Fair.  There is no obligation on any family to purchase from the Fair. The children have received leaflets with discounts and World Book Day tokens which can be used if purchasing books at the Book Fair.

The children indulged in some yummy pancakes today before Lent begins tomorrow. Pancakes were made by Anne- Marie and flipped by the children.                    

Sr. Rita will distribute ashes to the children and any parents or members of the community who wish to attend in the GP room at 1.30p.m tomorrow.

Children in 4th, 5th and 6th Class have made these lovely lanterns to celebrate Chinese New Year.

4th, 5th and 6th Class of St. Brigid's NS had great fun making St. Brigid's Day crosses. Crosses will be available for any member of the community at the back of the church on Saturday night after mass.
