St. Brigid's will reopen on september 1st 2015. The site will be inactive over the summer period.

Following 8 fantastic years in St. Brigid's the 6th class boys and girls had their 'outdoor' Graduation ceremony today in brilliant sunshine.

They've been named! Our garden gnomes will be known as SQUIDDLY & DIDDLY. Well done to Aoibhinn on her fantastic entry and on winning the much sought after signed 'Brian O'Driscoll Jersey'.

After a fantastic first season, our Rounders team were presented with their county championship medals by Séan Doris (Board of Management chairperson).

Mrs. Deirdre Kelly presented the Redhills Tidy Towns Art Competition winners with their Heatons vouchers. Junior & Senior Infants Gabrielius & Kerrie-Louise 1st & 2nd Class Nicole & Jessica 3rd & 4th Class Emma & Aoibhinn 5th & 6th Class Cerys & Tara

Well done to our Rounders team who have been crowned county champions. Captain Padraig Smith lead his team to a brilliant victory over Corlurgan. Emma Mulvaney also picked up the player of the match award. Presentation of medals will take place on Tuesday at the Graduation Ceremony (12.30pm). Final Score: St. Brigid's NS 9 Corlurgan NS 6  

Leah Garside was the final winner of the weekly draw for the 2014/15 year. Many thanks to all the brilliant families we have in the school who supported the draw.

Minister Heather Humphrey's attended to officially unveil our Digital School of Distinction plaque on a very special day for our school. Neil O' Sullivan (National coordinator of the Digital Schools of Distinction programme was also in attendance at the ceremony. We are lucky here in this school to have such a dynamic, flexible and forward thinking Board of Management, parent body and staff. Everyone has embraced the implementation of ICT in the school. Most of all we are so fortunate to have such fantastic pupils attend our school. The facilities we provide for these wonderful young people...
