5th and 6th class celebrated International Women's Day by presenting their group projects on inspirational women from around the world. They researched Rosa Parks, Malala Yousafzai, Mary Robinson, Constance Markievicz and Anne Frank.

Our senior classes had a fantastic time today in Microsoft Dreamspace, as part of Engineers Week 2019. They got an opportunity to explore the radio and LED function of the micro:bit and make videos using 3D paint. They also got a chance to see the amazing Microsoft building located in Leopardstown. Pancakes were the main topic of conversation today in St. Brigid's National School. Each class got an opportunity to have pancake races and of course, enjoy some delicious pancakes made by our wonderful secretary Annemarie. Have a look at the children in action...

Each month 5th and 6th class get a new edition of the Primary Planet Magazine. This magazine is filled with local, national and worldwide news, as well as the latest technological advancements around the world. At the end of each month, we have a quiz based on the information in that month's edition. The questions on today's quiz ranged from the president of Venezuela to the advancements in electric cars around the world.
