Congratulations to the students who proudly represented our school at the Cavan Credit Union Quiz. The team showed fantastic teamwork, knowledge and confidence as they competed against other schools. We are very proud of the way they represented our school and displayed such great effort and enthusiasm throughout the competition. Well done to all involved!

All classes have been busy developing their skills during our gymnastics lessons! The children have been working on balance, coordination, strength and flexibility. From forward rolls and pencil jumps to handstands and creating short sequences, everyone has been challenging themselves and building confidence. It’s fantastic to see such great teamwork, careful listening and positive attitudes in every class. Well done to all our budding gymnasts! ...

Our Junior Infants have been learning about solids and liquids in Science. To explore how materials can change, we made Rice Krispie buns. First, we looked at the chocolate, which was a solid. When we heated it, we watched it melt and turn into a liquid. We mixed the melted chocolate with Rice Krispies and spooned the mixture into bun cases. After cooling, the chocolate turned solid again. A fun (and tasty!) way to see science in action!
