Scoil Naomh Bríd is located in the picturesque area of Redhills in Co. Cavan. Surrounded by rolling hills, the school is no more than 2km away from Redhills Village. St. Brigid’s Catholic Church is only 100m away from Scoil Naomh Bríd. Our mission statement is:
Over the years many teachers have spent time teaching classes at Scoil Naomh Bríd or in Shannow School which existed before this school was built. At the minute there are three classroom teachers, one Learning Support teacher, one resource teacher and two Special Needs Assistants working in the school.
The main part of Scoil Naomh Bríd was built in 1939. It was divided into two classrooms. A pot-bellied stove would heat the rooms. In 1983, three new classrooms were constructed. These are the classrooms that we use today.
