Junior Infants recently enjoyed a lovely spring walk to Shannow Woods. The children set off on a special Spring Hunt, keeping their eyes open for signs of spring all around them. Using their checklists, they searched for different spring items and carefully ticked them off as they spotted them — from colourful flowers and fresh green leaves to birds and other signs of new life.
There was great excitement as each new discovery was made, and the pupils showed fantastic observation skills and teamwork throughout the walk. It was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, explore nature, and learn more about the changing season.
Well done to our Junior Infants for being such excellent spring explorers!
