Daily Mile – Run Around Ireland Challenge
The Daily Mile is a by-schools-for-schools programme designed as a way of children achieving improved health and well-being through daily physical activity. The Daily Mile is simple and free and gets children out of the classroom for fifteen minutes every day to run or jog, at their own pace, with their classmates, making them fitter, healthier, and more able to concentrate in the classroom.
Each week our classes will record how many laps of the Astro that they run and used that combined score to run to locations all around Ireland.
