5th and 6th class attended the Science Blast in Belfast on June, 5th. Their project was based on the question: What is the difference between normal fizzy drinks and diet fizzy drinks?. They completed a lot of research on this topic, carried out several experiments and conducted surveys on the other pupils in the school. They got the chance to showcase all of their findings at the Science Blast, as well as attend different shows and talk to other pupils from schools around the country.

We all had a brilliant time today at our school tour in 'The Jungle' in Magherafelt. Everyone enjoyed an adundent of activities. The rain most certainly did not stop us from having fun!

After a lot of hard work and dedication from all our pupils, and in particular our Green School's Committee, we achieved our 3rd Green Flag. This Green Flag is based on the theme of water. The water theme looks at developing awareness around water conservation and how to effectively manage this important resource in our schools and at home.
