Europe Day Celebrations were in full flow today as we completed the Blue Star European flagship programme. The GP room was a hive of activity with yummy European food dishes available for tasting, projects on display and digital projects available for viewing on laptops. We were also joined by Niamh Smyth, TD, for the celebrations. We stood for the European National Anthem and engaged in the National Handshake for Europe. Niamh Smyth accompanied us for the raising of the flag in the sunshine. A thoroughly enjoyable day was had by all. Well done to all of the children for their hard work and a special thank you to all parents for helping children prepare the tasty dishes over the weekend.
