The children in 5th and 6th class are taking part in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme 2019/20. They are learning about the skills of an entrepreneur and how to apply these skills to setting up their own mini company.

Meet our new Student Council, they meet to discuss issues that they want to bring forward within the school.

The boys and girls in Junior and Senior Infants had great fun exploring the theme of Halloween during their Aistear sessions in October. They cooked up spooky spells in the potion lab, created some scary spiders and pumkins in arts and crafts, dug for spiders and other creepy crawlies in the sand box and made some potions at the water table. Here is a look at them in action.  

This week Miss Leonard's class got into the Halloween spirit by making some delicious candy apples. They had great fun mixing, covering their apples with chocolate and decorating them with sprinkles.

The Junior and Senior Infants have been learning all about Autumn during Aistear for the past few weeks. They have had lots of fun creating autumn art using colourful leaves, making leaf rubbings, working in the farm shop, building homes for hibernating animals and making hedgehogs.  Here is a look at what they got up to.

5th and 6th class were busy looking at the different habitats around the school grounds. They audited these areas and made a list of things that can be improved to make the school grounds a better place for plants and animals.

Each month the boys and girls at St. Brigid's N.S. will display their artwork at the front of the school for all to see. This month our 1st and 2nd class display their art pieces under the theme of Autumn.
