Thank you to Mrs Burns, Eileen and Jacinta for their help in organising today's ceremony to celebrate Ash Wednesday. As part of the ceremony pupils learned about the Lent 2020 Trócaire campaign. The Department of Education and Skills has updated information for schools, preschools and third level institutions on Covid-19; provided by the Department of Health and HSE Health Protection Surveillance Centre following a meeting of the National Public Health Emergency Team. Green School Travel Flag

The boys and girls in St.Brigid's National School have been working on the theme of Travel as part of the Green Schools programme. Our committee completed a walk-ability audit of the local area and all classes have been taking part in workshops with our Travel Officer Susan Doorley.
