Today was a joyous occasion for St. Brigid’s N.S. This morning John from the Active School Flag Assessment team came to visit and assess our school to see what we have been up to this year as part of the ASF process. Each class and the Active School committee informed John of all the exciting activities that have been taking place over the past year. John was extremely impressed, in particular with how active the children are both in class and at break times. Based on the above we are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Active School Flag. This is a fantastic achievement for our school. We will be having an Active Flag raising ceremony this Friday in conjunction with sports day. More details to follow. Again well done to the active school committee, the children and staff for all the work they have put in over the past year.
