Congratulations to 3rd and 4th class who were awarded certificates for their participation in the Monaghan Education Centre “Write a Book Competition 2019”. Each student in the class worked hard for a number of weeks to write, design and illustrate their very own book.
Congratulations to Ryan O’Grady, Eoin Burns and Mathew Mc Cann who received highly commended awards for their books: “The thing that can make you live forever”, “The Adventures of Jimmy O’Brien” and “The fire breathing dragon”.
And a special congratulations to Joshua Dunne who was invited to the “Write A Book Competition” presentation evening in the Kilmore hotel. Joshua was awarded a merit for his book ‘The Magic Kingdom’.
