5th and 6th class diving head first into some problem solving tasks with the iZak9 Cubes.

The children in 4th, 5th and 6th class have been braving the cold conditions and playing soccer every Monday evening after school, being coached by Mr.Faulkner and Mr.McGonnell.

The excitement was through the roof in 3rd class today in anticipation of The Late Late Toy Show! We brought in our favourite toys and presented them to the class. We also designed Ryan’s jumper for the show tonight!

National Parents Council Primary in conjunction with St Patrick's Mental Health service, are providing an online training programme for parents to encourage and promote positive mental health and wellbeing in their children. The programme also explores how the building of resilience in children helps them to manage and cope with the day-to-day stresses of life as they occur. Ms.Campbell has been very busy giving Ballet lessons after school every Tuesday. Some future Ballerinas in the making!

The children in the Rising STARs class were learning how to was their hands this week.

3rd and 4th Class became budding scientists for Science Week as they conducted lots of experiments. Take a look at the video and pictures below to see the amazing results we got!  

5th and 6th class made some rockets on Wednesday. Each rocket was different in design. It was an activity the children thoroughly enjoyed, take a look at the video and pictures to see how they turned out!  

A huge thank you from all at St.Brigid’s N.S. for your generosity to the Annual Christmas Shoebox Appeal. The Team Hope volunteers were delighted to collect a total of 76 boxes from our school!! That will make Christmas more special for 76 children in need around the world. Well done to all the children.

Every Tuesday, the Shooting and Shining STARs classes visit the library. They listened to the librarian during story time, they got a tour of the library and they even got to look through the books after, they had so much fun!
