The children in Ms.West’s class have been busy with gardening. They planted cosmos and sweet pea. This week they are preparing a raised bed for tomatoes to be planted out soon.

Junior and Senior Infants have been learning all about the Zoo over the past few weeks in Aistear. Here is a look at what we got up to!

5th and 6th class have been learning all about 'An Aimsir' in Irish. Have a look at some of them reading the Weather Forecast for Ireland.

5th and 6th class have been learning all about the circle. They found circles outside the classroom and measured their diameter and radius, there is a lot more to the circle than they think!

Each day during the week of the 10th of May 2021 NPC will be holding Anti-bullying training sessions for Parents. On Monday – Thursday there will be both a morning session at 10am and an evening session at 8pm. A morning session at 10am will be held on Friday. The session will enable you to support your child regarding issues of bullying and will also inform you about the Anti Bullying Procedures for Primary Schools. Well done to all of the children from Junior Infants up to 6th class who took part in a walk today to Shannow Wood in aid of Pieta House. It was a lovely morning for a walk and even better that it was for such a good cause.

Junior and Senior Infants have been using the BeeBots to develop their problem solving skills. We also use the BeeBots to learn our tricky words, phonics and numbers!

3rd and 4th class have recently been learning all about ‘The Eye’. As part of their learning, they made origami eyes. Take a look at their work.
