Sky Sports visit to Redhills
Dublin ladies football All Star visited our school this week as part of our schools association with the Sky Sports-Living for Sport initiative. Carla shared her inspiring stories of success and will continue to support our school as we strive to become an active school. She also helped our pupils to come up with ideas on how to promote physical activity at home and in school. They also discussed ideas for active week. Carla will return to our school during this week to share exciting activity based games with all of our pupils.

Ballyhaise Agricultural College Visit
On Wednesday 7th December, 3rd/ 4th/ 5th and 6th classes got to visit Ballyhaise Agricultural College as part of a 'Farm Safety Awareness Campaign' organised by the Students specifically designed to highlight key risk areas on the farm.

Santa Post Boxes
There was great excitement on Monday morning when the children discovered that Santa's Post Boxes had been delivered over the weekend. Last date for posting to the North Pole is Monday 12th December.

Mannequin Challenge
St. Brigid's NS have just founded their first ever media club. Children from 5th and 6th class are enjoying activities which involve using technology to record, edit and publish sound files. The children have been busy planning, interviewing and collecting information over the past week. Keep an eye out in the coming weeks to see for yourself what they have been up to.
