Malin Head to Mizen Head
As part of our journey to achieve an Active Flag for the school every class is participating in a running initiative. Together we are running the combined distance from Malin Head to Mizen Head. To do this every class runs a set distance every week. These distances are combined and tracked on our Active School Noticeboard.
The initiative is heading into its third week now and everyone is really enjoying it. We hope to reach our goal of running 664km during Active Week which will coincide with the Easter Holidays. Check out our slow motion video of the kids from 1st to 4th class completing their run in week two:

Soccer training takes place every Monday from 3pm-4pm. The boys have already participated in one tournament and have another coming up in the next few weeks.
